MIRIAM
Director: Silvia Rossi
State of the project: in development
One night, during her shift to close down the pool, Miriam finds a phone ringing in the locker room; picking up that call opens a bridge with her roots and her whole identity since the woman on the other end of the line not only is calling from Nigeria, Miriam’s home country, but mysteriously seems to know her almost too well.
The two of them start a dialogue that unfolds throuought the whole film.
We follow Miriam among the different rooms of the pool while this challenging converstion constantly brings up glimpses from her subconscious.
